Cupping Therapy

Cupping Therapy is a non-invasive soft tissue bodywork that uses suction to bring toxins (lactic acid for example) out of muscles and fascia, back up into the lymphatic and circulatory systems. Drinking plenty of water afterwards will flush the toxins out of your body. It is a great pre-event sports massage technique because it loosens up restrictions in the muscular system and increases blood flow. Cupping is great for releasing trigger points and tight muscles. Emily preforms different types of cupping; Sliding cupping (moving th cups around), Static Cupping (leaving the cups sit 5-10 minutes on an area), and Cupping with Range of Motion and/or Stretching. (Cupping with the client actively preforming movements).

Emily can do Cupping Therapy as a stand alone service (30 min appointment ) or in combination with massage.
